Born and raised near London, England, Chris has been playing guitar since age 11.  His interest in guitar eventually led him to pursue a degree in music Performance and Composition at Kingston University, in Surrey England, from which he graduated with Honors in 2000.  Following this, Chris taught guitar in the British school system for 5 years where he taught students ages 6-18  as well as staging concerts and workshops.  Chris moved to the U.S. in 2005 and has since been active as a guitar instructor and performer. Having diverse skills and eclectic tastes, he can perform and teach genres ranging from rock, blues, r&b, funk, jazz, etc. to classical and acoustic styles. Chris is also a registered Suzuki guitar instructor and is now accepting students as young as 4 years.
